I am Rahul Roy, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Aitihya. With a strong foundation in technology and design, I bring a multidisciplinary approach to building purpose-driven digital ventures. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology, and my professional background includes extensive experience in web development, UI/UX design, digital media strategy, graphic design, and e-commerce development.

Aitihya was conceived as a response to a pressing need — to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of Bengal through a modern platform that empowers local artisans. During my academic and professional journey, I came to realize that many gifted creators across rural and semi-urban Bengal are unable to reach a wider audience due to structural limitations — lack of GST registration, limited digital literacy, and inadequate market access. Aitihya seeks to bridge this gap.

My own journey began in a modest neighborhood in West Bengal, where I grew up surrounded by art, tradition, and stories passed down through generations. From a young age, I found myself drawn to both technology and creativity — repairing computers, designing visuals, and eventually teaching myself to code and create digital experiences. I started my first business, Tech Mechanic, as a teenager, offering tech repair services to support my passion. Later, I co-founded Attiray & Co., a creative fashion brand that merges artistic expression with lifestyle design.

These experiences, coupled with my deep connection to my roots, shaped the vision for Aitihya. It represents more than a business — it is a tribute to the artisans, the untold stories, and the cultural soul of Bengal. Every product on Aitihya is a reflection of heritage and craftsmanship, presented through a lens of modern design and functionality.
